John Duguay proudly represents injured clients who find themselves in difficult circumstances and in need of zealous advocacy. Mr. Duguay has practiced personal injury law in Colorado since 2016.
Mr. Duguay graduated from the University of Vermont in 2007. In 2011, Mr. Duguay received his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he served as an editor of the Connecticut Law Review and a member of the Connecticut Moot Court Board. After law school, Mr. Duguay worked as assigned counsel for prison inmates challenging the constitutionality of their convictions through habeas corpus petitions. Shortly after relocating to Colorado in late 2015, Mr. Duguay joined one of Colorado’s largest personal injury firms, where he handled a wide variety of personal injury cases and developed his personal injury practice. Mr. Duguay later worked at a veterans’ disability practice and another large local personal injury firm prior to joining Sloat, Nicholson & Hoover, P.C. in January 2023.
Mr. Duguay currently lives in Denver, CO with his partner, Meryl, and their two young children and Boston Terrier. When he is able to take a break from court and advocating for his clients, he enjoys live music, learning to play hockey and guitar, and spending time with his family.
